Carol Brecker teaches weekly classes in her design studio anchored in her beautiful garden, which provides branch material to support ikebana art basics: line, mass, and space. Carol is a certified First Degree Komon instructor with the Sogetsu School in Tokyo. She continues to learn and study Sogetsu Ikebana since 2002 and enjoys teaching since 2006.

DEMONSTRATIONS AND STAGE SHOWS
Carol presents programs for organizations on the development, simple beauty, and techniques used in ikebana. Demonstrations can be based on seasonal themes, styles, techniques, and special materials. Stage shows can be arranged to create large pieces in a theater-style setting.
EXHIBITIONS AND INSTALLATIONS
Carol creates and exhibits extensively in Arizona, Colorado, and worldwide. Gardens, galleries, cultural events, museums, lobbies, Ikebana Events and homes are perfect venues.
She curates, exhibits, and demonstrates at the Japanese Friendship Garden Annual Ikebana Exhibition each January/February.
SOGETSU IKEBANA COMMUNITY
Join the community of teachers and students of ikebana in metropolitan Phoenix. Carol lives the motto of Ikebana International. “Friendship through Flowers”. She is a founder and chairperson for Phoenix Sogetsu Ikebana, is active with the Sogetsu Teacher's Association in Tokyo, and with Ikebana International.
